Life is but a VAPOR, here one minute and gone the next. We’ve become WAY too comfortable down here. We’ve been focused on storing up riches on earth rather than in Heaven. There is absolutely nothing on this earth that you can bring with you. Nothing else will stand EXCEPT the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Everyday people are working to obtain money, degrees, love, prestige, etc. They’re good things, don’t get me wrong! But they’re not eternal things! It’s NOTHING for God to bless you with those things. You want a degree? Pshh that’s nothing for Him. You want a husband? Girl, he can do that with the snap of His finger! BUT where 👏🏽 is 👏🏽 your 👏🏽 FOCUS?
I PROMISE YOU, according to God’s word, if you were more about God’s business then He’d be more about yours. Imagine being hired for a job and doing the bare minimum but expecting a raise. Your boss would look at you crazy! God’s saying, “Stop reaching for my hand and reach for a plow!”
GET TO WORK, Kingdom people! There’s people to love, deliver, and heal in this world. Your friends and family and neighbors and enemies are on their way to hell and you’re concerned about what exactly? What is more important than another man’s life? You have gifts of the Spirit that need to be discovered and matured for your purpose on earth.
We are foolish to believe we have “plenty” of time to do God’s business. No. God has given us THIS day that He has made. Ask God what assignment you can fulfill today. Ask Him where your hand is needed today.
