“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”
Romans 12:2 NLT
I love art in all forms. From painting to poetry to dance to music, I love it all. It helps me see things differently. Art transforms the most mundane parts of life into a masterpiece. It makes you think and feel differently about things. One person may look at a yellow blob and think it’s child’s play another person may see spark of light.
It’s all about how you think about it.
For example, an advantage you have as a believer is that all things are possible. An unbeliever could never think that. A person without belief only thinks things within their reach and capability are possible; they have limited vision and thinking.
Another example is that you’re able to do all things in Christ. You can love the unlovable, forgive the unforgivable, and heal the untreatable according to God’s power in you.
It seems hard to wrap our heads around the things God wants us to do, think, and feel but according to His word it’s all possible…IF you believe. The best way to wrap your head around God’s thoughts is to wrap His thoughts around your heart. Love His promises so much that your mind has no choice but to believe it. Bind each word around your neck so every time you look down in discouragement you’re reminded of His truths.
As Joyce Meyers would say, “Change your stinkin’ thinkin’!”
